Midwifery Services and Fees

_Below is a detailed list of the services available to you through Bundle of Joy Midwifery.

Midwifery Care Package:
  • 24-hour availability of a midwife throughout pregnancy and postpartum period
  • Initial physical exam and breast exam done at my office in Gallatin, TN.
  • Prenatal visits at my office (monthly until 28 weeks, then bimonthly until 36 weeks, then weekly at 36 weeks and thereafter)
  • Prenatal monitoring of blood pressure, urine, weight, growth of fetus, etc.
  • 36-week visit is in-home to evaluate the birth place.
  • Labor-birth support and monitoring with at least one assistant (midwifery care package fee includes 1 assistant's fee)
  • IV administration and suturing if necessary
  • Immediate postpartum care (maternal and newborn)
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Postpartum visits at my office during the first week and during 6 weeks postpartum or later if needed

Additional Services or Fees that May Be Needed or Desired:
  • Ultrasound
  • FDA Approved Birth Pool Rental - $100
  • Pool liner fee is $50.  Refundable deposit for pool rental is $200.
  • Additional Birth Assistants
  • Birth Kit (which can be purchased through me)
  • Prenatal Herbal Infusion
  • Lactation Consultant
  • All other lab work is extra.

Payment Plans

We can discuss with you several different payment options.

In case services are terminated early, we can pro-rate the fees.

Insurance

We can file your insurance. Full payment is still expected up front.  We will reimburse you once we receive payment from your insurance carrier.
